What age can my child start Brazilian jiu-jitsu?

Kids can start as young as 3 in Kids Class 1 (ages 3–6). Kids Class 2 is for ages 7–12. Classes are tailored to each age group, size and stage of development.

Is BJJ safe for kids?

Yes. Jiu-jitsu emphasizes control and technique instead of striking. With constant supervision, our classes are safe, structured and beginner-friendly.

My child is shy. Will they fit in?

Absolutely. Shy kids are welcome, and coaches meet every child where they are. Partner drills and games help kids open up and make friends at their own pace.

Will jiu-jitsu make my child aggressive?

No. Kids BJJ emphasizes respect, humility and discipline. Children who train tend to become calmer, more confident and more respectful.

Does my child need experience to join?

How many times a week should my child train?

Two to three times a week is ideal. Even one class a week helps kids improve fitness, focus and confidence.
